Ingredients

Liquid Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of rosé wine
  • 1 to 2 cups lemonade (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or to taste)

Frozen Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (no sugar added)
  • rosé and lemonade ice cubes (made from the above rosé and lemonade)

Garnish

  • fresh sliced strawberries
  • fresh lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Freeze the rosé and lemonade: Pour the rosé and lemonade into separate ice cube trays and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight to create rosé and lemonade ice cubes.
  2. Blend the frozen cubes and strawberries: Place all of the rosé cubes and 6 lemonade cubes into a blender with 1 cup of frozen strawberries and 2 tablespoons of simple syrup. Blend until smooth and slushy. Adjust sweetness and alcohol strength by adding more lemonade cubes if desired. For a thinner consistency, add a splash or two of lemonade and blend again.
  3. Serve: Pour the slushy mixture into serving glasses and garnish each with fresh lemon slices and sliced strawberries for a festive finish.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of lemonade and simple syrup to balance sweetness and tartness.
  • Use unsweetened frozen strawberries to better control sugar content.
  • The drink is best served immediately after blending for optimal slushiness.
  • Make sure to freeze the cubes long enough (at least 6 hours) to avoid a watery drink.
