Ingredients

For the Dirt Pudding

  • 16 Oreos, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 4 cups (32 oz) fat free milk, cold (recommendation: Fairlife)
  • 2 (1.4 oz) boxes sugar-free chocolate pudding mix
  • 8 oz lite whipped topping, thawed

For Topping

  • 24 gummy worms
  • Optional: any other toppers like plastic shovels or candy pumpkins

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreos into a large ziplock bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or pulse them in a food processor until well crushed.
  2. Prepare the pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar-free chocolate pudding mix with the cold fat free milk. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow it to thicken properly.
  3. Fold in whipped topping: Gently fold the thawed lite whipped topping into the thickened pudding using a spatula, combining them evenly to create a creamy texture.
  4. Assemble first layer: Take eight 8-ounce cups and add about 1/3 cup of the pudding mixture into each cup, distributing approximately one-third of the pudding evenly. Sprinkle a heaping tablespoon of the crushed Oreos on top of the pudding layer.
  5. Assemble second layer: Add the remaining pudding mixture as a second layer into each cup, then top with the rest of the crushed Oreos evenly divided among the cups.
  6. Add gummy worms and decorations: Place three gummy worms on top of each cup and add any optional decorations such as plastic shovels or candy pumpkins to enhance the presentation.
  7. Chill and serve: For best results, chill the assembled dirt cake cups in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow them to set well and serve cold.
