Ingredients

Meat

  • 16 ounces turkey kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch (ish) rounds

Vegetables

  • 6-8 medium potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium to large tomato, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Seasonings and Oils

  • 2-3 tbsp Season All seasoning blend
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil: Place 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat while you prepare the vegetables.
  2. Prepare and cook potatoes: Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the hot skillet and cook, stirring often, for about 10 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add remaining vegetables and seasoning: Add the chopped tomato, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Sprinkle generously with 2-3 tablespoons of Season All. Stir to combine and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the kielbasa: Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sliced turkey kielbasa to the empty side. Let it cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes to brown and heat through.
  5. Combine and season again: Stir the kielbasa and vegetables together in the skillet. Sprinkle more Season All seasoning over the mixture for extra flavor.
  6. Simmer to tenderize potatoes: Cover the skillet with a lid or large dinner plate, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook until the potatoes are fully tender—about 5 to 10 minutes more.
  7. Final seasoning and serve: Sprinkle with additional Season All seasoning if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Season All seasoning is a versatile blend typically including salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and other herbs – adjust quantity to taste.
  • You can substitute turkey kielbasa with regular pork kielbasa if preferred.
  • For crispier potatoes, avoid covering the skillet during the first 10 minutes of cooking.
  • This recipe is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
