Ingredients

1 cup water

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

2 jasmine green tea or jasmine black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or 1/2 vanilla bean)

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp honey (adjust to taste)

Ice cubes (for iced version)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer. Add the jasmine tea bag and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  2. Remove tea bags (or strain loose leaf). Add milk, vanilla, and ground cinnamon. Stir gently.
  3. Heat on low for 2–3 minutes until warm and infused. Do not boil.
  4. Stir in honey until dissolved.
  5. For the hot version, pour into a mug and serve immediately.
  6. For the iced version, let tea cool and pour over a glass filled with ice cubes.
  7. Optional garnish: sprinkle cinnamon on top or use a vanilla bean as a stirrer.

Notes

  • Use jasmine green tea for a lighter taste, or jasmine black tea for a bolder flavor.
  • Plant-based milks like almond, oat, or coconut add unique flavor profiles.
  • Add dried lavender for extra floral aroma or a half teaspoon of matcha powder for a twist.
  • Top iced version with cold foam or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
  • For a festive touch, rim the glass with cinnamon sugar or garnish with edible flowers.
