Ingredients

Vanilla Coffee Creamer

  • 1 cup half and half, cream, evaporated milk, or non-dairy milk (soy, rice, cashew, oat, almond, etc.)
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or confectioner’s sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Vanilla Iced Coffee

  • 8-16 ounces brewed coffee (hot or chilled)
  • Ice cubes (optional, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Vanilla Coffee Creamer: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the half and half (or your chosen milk), sugar, and pure vanilla extract. Using a handheld electric mixer, blend the mixture until it is smooth and evenly mixed. Transfer the creamer to a lidded mason jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Make Vanilla Iced Coffee with Hot Brewed Coffee: Pour hot brewed coffee over a glass full of ice cubes to quickly chill it. Add the prepared vanilla coffee creamer to taste, stir well to combine, and enjoy immediately.
  3. Make Vanilla Iced Coffee with Chilled Brewed Coffee: Pour chilled brewed coffee into a glass. Add the prepared vanilla coffee creamer to taste, stir to mix thoroughly. Serve with or without additional ice according to preference.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by increasing or decreasing the sugar to suit your taste.
  • Non-dairy milk options work well for a vegan or lactose-free version of this creamer.
  • Store the vanilla coffee creamer in the refrigerator and use it within a week for best freshness.
  • The coffee strength and amount can be customized depending on how strong or light you prefer your iced coffee.
  • For a richer creamer, use half and half or evaporated milk instead of non-dairy alternatives.
