Ingredients

For the Tandoori Paneer

  • 1/2 cup Paneer (small cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon Yogurt (thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Turmeric (Haldi powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chili powder (or mild paprika, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt (adjust to taste)

For the Pizza

  • 2 Garlic Naan
  • 1/4 cup Pizza sauce or Marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup Grape Tomatoes (cut into halves)
  • 1/4 cup Red Onions (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Bell pepper (sliced)
  • 3/4 cup Mozzarella (grated)
  • 2 tablespoon Feta (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tandoori Paneer: In a bowl, combine paneer cubes with yogurt, garam masala, garlic powder, turmeric, Kashmiri red chili powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly to coat the paneer evenly with the marinade.
  2. Preheat and setup: For air frying, preheat the air fryer to 350°F. For oven cooking, preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Assemble the base: Place the garlic naans on the baking tray or air fryer-safe tray. Spread pizza or marinara sauce evenly over each naan. Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese over the sauced naan as a base layer.
  4. Add toppings: Distribute the marinated paneer cubes evenly over the two naans. Layer with sliced red onions, bell peppers, and halved grape tomatoes.
  5. Cheese it up and garnish: Spread an even layer of the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables. Optionally sprinkle feta cheese over the pizzas and then add chopped cilantro for freshness.
  6. Cook the pizza: Air fryer method: Cook at 350°F for 8-10 minutes; start checking after 7 minutes and cook until cheese melts and edges are crisp. Oven method: Bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes for a crispy cheese finish.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Remove from air fryer or oven, top with chili flakes if desired, slice and serve hot!

Notes

  • You can adjust the spice levels by modifying the amount of Kashmiri red chili powder.
  • Substitute paneer with tofu for a vegan option, but note the recipe is not fully vegan due to cheese.
  • If you like extra crispy naan, broil the pizza in the oven for a few minutes at the end of cooking.
  • Use fresh cilantro for added flavor and garnish just before serving to keep it vibrant.
  • Leftover pizza can be refrigerated and gently reheated in an oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
