1 can sweetened condensed milk

16 oz whipped cream

22 oz caramel syrup

8 oz Heath English Toffee Bits

1 king-sized Heath bar, crushed

Instructions

  1. Bake Devil’s Food cake according to package directions.
  2. While cake is still warm, cut into small squares directly in the pan.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the warm cake, letting it soak in as the cake cools.
  4. Once cooled, place one-third of the cake pieces in the bottom of a trifle bowl.
  5. Top with one-third of the whipped cream, caramel syrup, and Heath toffee bits.
  6. Repeat the layers two more times.
  7. Crush the Heath bar and sprinkle over the final top layer.

  9. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use chocolate fudge cake mix for a richer flavor.
  • Swap caramel syrup with hot fudge for a twist.
  • Add chocolate pudding layers for extra creaminess.
  • Substitute Heath bits with chopped Snickers or Butterfinger.
  • Use homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
  • Best made a day ahead to let flavors blend.
