Ingredients

1 box Devil’s Food cake mix (prepared as directed)

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

16 oz whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

22 oz caramel syrup

8 oz Heath English Toffee Bits

1 King-Sized Heath bar, crushed (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Devil’s Food cake according to package instructions. Let it cool until warm.
  2. Cut the cake into bite-sized cubes. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk and let it soak in.
  3. Layer one-third of the cake in the bottom of a trifle dish. Spread whipped cream on top, drizzle with caramel syrup, and sprinkle with toffee bits.
  4. Repeat the layering process two more times: cake, whipped cream, caramel, and toffee bits.
  5. Finish with a final layer of whipped cream and garnish with crushed Heath bar.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Swap cake with brownies for a fudgier version.
  • Add a layer of chocolate or vanilla pudding for extra creaminess.
  • Use clear cups or jars for individual servings.
  • Try salted caramel and a pinch of sea salt between layers for contrast.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts for added texture.
