Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemon juice (from 5-6 medium lemons)
  • 1 cup mango pulp (homemade or store bought)
  • 1/2 cup honey (or sugar syrup)
  • 5 cups chilled water
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • Ice for serving
  • 1 lemon sliced (optional for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Combine liquids and sweetener: In a large glass pitcher or jar, mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice, mango pulp, and honey thoroughly until the honey is completely dissolved into the mixture.
  2. Add water and mint: Pour in the chilled water and add the fresh mint leaves to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine all the flavors. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Serve chilled: Place a few ice cubes into serving glasses. Pour the chilled mango lemonade over the ice, garnish with a slice of lemon if desired, and serve immediately for a refreshing drink.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the mango pulp before mixing.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or sugar syrup according to your taste.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • The lemonade can be prepared a few hours ahead and kept refrigerated.
  • Add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy twist.
