4 ounces thinly sliced Italian cold cuts (capicola, prosciutto, or bresaola)

1 small baguette, thinly sliced

½ pound fresh fruit (grapes, pomegranate, figs, pears, apples)

6 ounces dark chocolate, broken into pieces

½ cup dried fruit (apricots or figs)

¼ cup almonds (preferably Marcona)

½ cup honey

¼ cup olives

Notes

  • Swap meats for turkey or chicken slices for a lighter version.
  • Add sugared cranberries, candied pecans, or rosemary sprigs for holiday flair.
  • Use gluten-free bread or crackers if needed.
  • Replace honey with fig jam or chutney for extra sweetness.
  • Include vegan cheeses for a more inclusive board.
  • Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables just before serving to maintain freshness.
