Ingredients

2 mini whole wheat bagels, sliced in half

2 tablespoons pizza sauce

¼ cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

4 slices turkey pepperoni, cut into fourths

½ cup baby carrots (for serving)

½ cup red seedless grapes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the bagel halves on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Spread each half with pizza sauce, then top with mozzarella cheese and pieces of turkey pepperoni.
  4. Bake for 4–6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and edges are crisp.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  6. Serve with baby carrots and grapes for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Use whole grain or plain bagels for variety.
  • Substitute turkey pepperoni with ham, sausage, or vegetables for a different twist.
  • Great for meal prep—freeze unbaked and bake when ready.
  • Air fryer method: Cook at 375°F for 4–5 minutes.
  • Let cool before packing in lunchboxes to avoid sogginess.
