Ingredients

1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into 6 wedges

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high and lightly oil grates.
  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Coat pineapple wedges evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  4. Grill pineapple 3–5 minutes per side until caramelized and grill marks appear.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish or with ice cream for dessert.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe but firm pineapple for best results.
  • Light or dark brown sugar both work—dark adds deeper flavor.
  • For a spicy twist, add cayenne or chili powder to the sugar mix.
  • No grill? Bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes or use a grill pan.
  • Best enjoyed warm; freezing not recommended as texture changes.
