Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise, plus more if needed

2 teaspoons white wine vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons wasabi paste

2 teaspoons Italian dressing

3 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

3 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles or gherkins

1/3 cup crispy jalapeño chips, crushed

1/4 cup chopped apple

1/2 cup fresh corn kernels

1/2 cup frozen peas (thawed)

10 ounces tuna packed in olive oil, drained

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, wasabi paste, and Italian dressing until smooth.
  2. Add red onion, pickles, jalapeño chips, apple, corn, and peas to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. Gently fold in the drained tuna until well incorporated.
  4. Taste and add additional mayonnaise if a creamier texture is desired.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Swap wasabi for Dijon mustard for a milder version.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a lighter salad.
  • Add hard-boiled eggs for more protein.
  • Use canned corn if fresh isn’t available.
  • Try potato chips instead of jalapeño chips for less heat.
  • Add celery or bell pepper for extra crunch.
  • Mix in parsley or chives for added brightness.
  • Serve in lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
  • Use albacore tuna for a chunkier texture.
  • Top with sharp cheddar for extra richness.
