2 teaspoons curry powder
2 teaspoons chili oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons oil
4 shallots, minced
4 cloves garlic, minced

8 cups beef broth
12 ounces flour noodles
1 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup chopped scallions
1/4 cup finely crushed peanuts
