Ingredients

34 medium ripe bananas

1 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, white, or dairy-free)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Peel bananas and slice into ½-inch thick rounds.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange banana slices in a single layer and freeze for 30 minutes.
  3. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave (30-second intervals) or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  4. Mix in coconut oil until combined.
  5. Using a fork, dip each frozen banana slice into the chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place back on the tray.
  6. Freeze for another 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Transfer to an airtight freezer-safe container or bag. Store in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle nuts, coconut, or sprinkles over freshly dipped bites before freezing.
  • Freeze bananas before dipping to help the chocolate stick.
  • Dark, milk, or white chocolate all work—choose your favorite.
  • Serve straight from the freezer for best texture.
  • Do not reheat—these are meant to stay frozen.
