Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whole cherries (seeds removed, fresh or frozen/thawed)
  • 2 cans (7.5 ounces each) Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup vanilla creamer (Chobani brand or similar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries: Mince the cherries finely until small enough to easily fit through a straw. Collect a few spoonfuls of cherry juice released from chopping and set aside for later use.
  2. Make the cherry vanilla cold foam: Using a milk frother or smoothie blender, whip the vanilla creamer together with the reserved cherry juice until it forms a thick, creamy but pourable cold foam.
  3. Assemble the drink: Place 4 tablespoons of the minced cherries at the bottom of each glass. Fill each glass with ice cubes, covering about two-thirds of the glass.
  4. Add soda and foam: Pour Dr. Pepper into each glass, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top. Spoon in the cherry vanilla cold foam on top carefully. Stir gently to combine without disturbing the carbonation too much to prevent overflow.

Notes

  • Removing cherry seeds is important for an easy sipping experience.
  • Using a frother helps achieve the perfect creamy cold foam texture.
  • Be gentle when stirring to maintain the soda’s carbonation and prevent spills.
  • Both fresh and thawed frozen cherries work well for this recipe.
  • This recipe makes two servings; adjust quantities accordingly for more servings.
