Ingredients

Apples

  • 3-4 gala apples, thinly sliced
  • 3-4 granny smith apples, thinly sliced

Toppings and Sauces

  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling
  • White chocolate candy coating, ½ cup
  • Mini chocolate chips, ¼ cup
  • Heath toffee bits, ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Prepare Toppings: Place the mini chocolate chips and Heath toffee bits into separate small bowls so they are ready to sprinkle immediately after drizzling the sauces.
  2. Prepare Drizzle Bag: Cut a small corner off a Ziploc bag to create a piping bag for drizzling the white chocolate easily and evenly.
  3. Slice Apples: Cut the gala and granny smith apples into thin slices right before adding any toppings to prevent browning, then arrange the slices evenly on a serving dish.
  4. Melt White Chocolate: Place the white chocolate candy coating in a small pot over low heat, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth. Quickly transfer to the prepared Ziploc bag with the cut corner for drizzling.
  5. Drizzle and Top: Immediately drizzle the melted white chocolate and caramel sauce over the apple slices. While still warm, sprinkle the mini chocolate chips and Heath toffee bits evenly over the top.
  6. Serve: Serve the caramel apple nachos immediately for the best texture and flavor experience.

Notes

  • Cut apples just before serving to prevent browning and maintain freshness.
  • You can use store-bought caramel sauce or homemade for richer flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of toppings based on personal taste preferences.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the contrast of warm drizzle and crisp apples.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute white chocolate candy coating and caramel with vegan alternatives.
