Ingredients

Marinade

Skewers

  • 24 Cherry Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil with Italian seasoning, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Marinate Mozzarella: Add the mini mozzarella balls into the seasoned oil and gently toss to coat them evenly. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes; for best flavor, refrigerate and marinate overnight.
  3. Assemble Skewers: Thread one cherry tomato, one folded fresh basil leaf, and one marinated mozzarella ball onto each mini skewer. Arrange the assembled skewers on a serving platter.
  4. Finish and Serve: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the assembled skewers. Optionally, drizzle some of the seasoned olive oil over the tomatoes for extra flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy.
