Ingredients

1 cup dates (soaked if not soft)

¾ cup walnuts

2 tablespoons cacao powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients, except chocolate chips, to a food processor and blend until a dough-like texture forms.
  2. If the mixture is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of warm water to help blend.
  3. Once blended, mix in chocolate chips.
  4. Form into about 10–12 balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for 15 minutes to firm up, then enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Use mini chocolate chips for best texture.
  • Soak dates in hot water for 10 minutes if not soft to ensure smooth blending.
  • Customize with coconut flakes, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, or a touch of maple syrup for added sweetness.
