Ingredients

Produce

  • 2 cups (473.18 g) fresh pineapple chunks, peeled
  • 6 cups (180 g) baby spinach
  • 3 small celery stalks
  • 1 thumb ginger root

Instructions

  1. Prepare your produce: If your spinach is pre-washed, there’s no need to wash it again. Otherwise, wash thoroughly and dry well to avoid watery juice. Clean the celery similarly. Remove the rind from the pineapple and cut it into chunks suitable for your juicer. Peel the lemon and remove seeds if any. The ginger can be juiced with or without the peel.
  2. Add produce to the juicer: For juicers like the Nama J2 or J3, add most produce at once. For other types, add pieces one by one. Add ginger and spinach first as lighter produce juices more easily when followed by heavier items like pineapple and celery.
  3. Start juicing: Turn on your juicer and process all ingredients until fully juiced.
  4. Serve & enjoy: Pour the juice into glasses or jars. Add ice cubes if desired for a chilled beverage. Enjoy your fresh green juice, ideally with a glass straw.

Notes

  • This recipe yields about 2 cups (500 mL), suitable for one large or two small servings, depending on produce size.
  • To increase sweetness, add more pineapple or reduce spinach.
  • To decrease sweetness, add more celery and/or spinach and reduce pineapple.
  • Store leftover juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Shake well before drinking.
